Wheelers Accessible Van Rental of San Jose, California where we provide quality accessible van rentals throughout the San Jose area. All of our vehicles are wheelchair accessible with lowered floors and power and remote control automatic ramps.

We are able to assist you whether you need temporary transportation while you are going through rehabilitation. Or if you are replacing a vehicle that has been in an accident and if there is an insurance company involved, we'll even bill the insurance company for you, or if you are simply traveling to the great state of California , Wheelers Accessible Van Rental can accommodate your transportation challenges. Our rental vans are available by the day, week, month, or longer, and we're available to make your reservations 5 days a week, from 8am to 5 pm . Our aim is to ensure that you have accessible transportation for all your wheelchair/scooter needs.

Our mini-vans include: Power Ramp Lowered floor Securement system for wheelchairs or scooters – Q-Straint Hand controls (upon request) 6-way power transfer seats for drivers (upon request) Remote Power doors Plush Interiors Front and Rear Air Conditioning Automatic Transmission Front passenger seat can be left in or taken out Click here for demo of tie-downs (click here) The tie-downs that we use are Q-Straint. They are extremely easy to use – it may be helpful for you to watch the video prior to your arrival to assist you in the safe operation of the tie-downs. Wheelers experienced staff is also available to assist you with instructions and demonstration of the use of the tie-downs.

DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery/Pickup charges are based on the county we deliver and/or pick up from, please call for rates.

(Deliveries have a minimum rental period of 1 day)

MILEAGE CHARGES

Rental fees include 100 free miles per day, accumulative. Any additional mileage above and beyond this allotment is charged at $0.57 per mile.

FUEL CHARGES

Vehicles are delivered with a full tank of gas and should be returned with a full tank.  Any vehicle returned short of a full tank will result in a charge of $6.50 per gallon plus a refueling surcharge.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Driver age of 23 years old
• Valid Drivers License
• Your Insurance is primary – You need to have full-coverage insurance (comp, collision and liability coverage which includes coverage for driving a rental vehicle)
• Valid Credit Card
• We accept VISA and Master Card

SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY

If you use a service animal, please inform us at the time of the reservation. Service animals are the ONLY animals allowed in our vehicle. Unauthorized pets will be subject to cleaning and damage charges.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellation 3 days or greater before your arrival date - No Charge
• Cancellation 4-6 day or less before arrival- has a $200 charge.
• Cancellation 6 days or less before arrival – is not refundable
• Trip Cancellation coverage is available – ask your rental agent about coverage fees.
